MigraineCare is a record-keeping tool you choose to use. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.
Your name, email, phone number, age, sex and where you live, plus the migraine attacks, symptoms, triggers, medications, reminders and documents you choose to add.
We never sell your information and never share it for advertising. A clinician can only see your records after you give them a connection code or an administrator assigns them, and you can end that access at any time.
We ask for your explicit opt-in before storing any health information, and we ask again if the wording changes. You can withdraw that consent whenever you like from the "Privacy and data" page inside your account — withdrawing stops further collection and lets you erase what is already stored.
During sign-up we ask which region you live in so we can apply the right rules:
MigraineCare is offered directly to you, not under contract with a hospital or doctor, so it is generally not a HIPAA-covered entity. We still hold ourselves to consumer health data protection standards, and your records are treated as sensitive health information in every case.
As a direct-to-consumer health app we are covered by the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule. If your data is ever exposed through a breach or an unauthorised disclosure to a third party, we will notify you and the Federal Trade Commission within the deadlines that rule requires, and tell you what was affected and what to do next.
Sign in and open Privacy and data from the menu. From there you can download a complete copy of your records as a file, permanently erase all of your health records while keeping your login, or permanently close your account and erase everything. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
You can also email info@intelligent-data-hub.com and we will action your request.
MigraineCare is an informational and log-keeping tool. It is not a diagnostic service and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not rely on it in an emergency — call emergency services. Any generated report is only to help you discuss your history with a physician, who remains solely responsible for diagnosis and prescriptions.
